APPLiA Polska
We are the association of household appliance employers representing
manufacturers and importers of household appliances in Poland.
APPLiA Polska is the new name of our organization,
which, from its registration in 2004 until May 2018, functioned
under the name CECED Polska.
Who are we?
- Center for research and analysis of the household appliance industry
- Initiator of the Codes of Good Practice for the household appliance industry
- Author of the annual ,,Household Appliance Market Report”
- Expert on energy efficiency and circular economy
- Founder and main shareholder of ElektroEko S.A. – the largest electro-waste recovery organization in Poland
- Member of Polish Chamber of Commerce
- Member of Employers of Poland
- Member of APPLIA Home Appliance Europe – organization, which was founded in 1958 and represents the entire household appliance industry in the EU, associating 26 national organizations.
What do we do?
- We actively participate in social dialogue with the government, parliament, media and NGOs.
- We build dialogue in the industry between all participants in the supply chain, from manufacturers to suppliers, service providers and recyclers, including many SMEs.
- We represent the industry in standardization institutions – we chair three committees in the Polish Committee for Standardization.
- We organize the most important events in the industry: the Home Appliances Congress, the Home Appliances Service Providers Congress, the WEEE Conference
- We create important information and education campaigns: EtykietaEnergetyczna.pl, ZostanTechnikiemAGD.pl

- Large household appliances, such as refrigerators, freezers, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers
- Small household appliances, such as vacuum cleaners, irons, toasters
- Care and Beauty appliances, such as epilators, styling equipment, toothbrushes
- Home Comfort appliances, such as air conditioners and heat pumps, hoods, air conditioners, and water heaters (HVAC)
