APPLiA Home Appliance Europe
The European home appliance industry is an important player in the European economy,
which contributes to innovation and prosperity in Europe.
The entire industry in the European Union is represented by the association APPLiA Home Appliance Europe.
The organization was founded in 1958 and is based in Brussels.
APPLiA promotes the home appliance industry’s mission of increasing product innovation
while reducing the environmental impact of appliances.
APPLiA members produce
the following types of equipment:
> Large appliances, such as refrigerators, freezers, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers;
> Small appliances such as vacuum cleaners, irons, toasters and toothbrushes;
> Heating, ventilation and air conditioning appliances, such as air conditioners, heat pumps and local space heaters.
